Supporting the good work of great organisations The best outcomes are achieved through partnerships, goodwill and hard work. It’s why our charitable and sponsorship program – Deicorp Community- works with great local organisations to deliver meaningful impacts to those in need. From respected neighbourhood centres delivering services in their communities, through to recognised charities like PCYC and Camp Quality, we support organisations to deliver programs and services that make a difference.
PCYC run a range of vital programs to help at-risk youth, giving them the support they need to make good choices. Their Fit for Life programs gives local kids a healthy breakfast to start the day, physical activity and a chance to get to know local Police Youth Officers. Deicorp’s support for program like this help build stronger communities.
Originally called Riverstone Neighbourhood Centre and Community Aid Service, North West Community Services has been operating since 1977, with the goal of building a stronger community in the Riverstone area. NWCS provides critical transport services for the elderly and frail, as well as free tutoring programs for primary and high school students. Deicorp Community is supporting their great work with sponsorship of these programs and support for their community building programs.
Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation, (previously known as Camp Kookaburra) was founded in 2002 by Dianne Madden, who through personal experience identified the lack of support for children living in a family affected by mental illness.
The first camp organised by Dianne was held in 2002 with just 16 kids in Sydney. Today over 2,000 kids are registered to the Kookaburra Kids program which is being delivered in all major capital cities.
Hills Community Aid has been operating for more than 50 years delivering a range of social, financial and education programs that assist, strengthen and connect the community. Deicorp Community proudly sponsors a number of HCA’s programs and services including the community bus, homework help program and the Daily Grind Social Enterprise.
Deicorp Community is proud to support the work of our medical professionals and researchers to improve the lives of those in need.
Our Chairman Fouad Deiri demonstrated this commitment by supporting the Robotic Surgery Initiative at Westmead Hospital with a donation of $200,000. And through Deicorp Community, we’ve helped raise $150,000 for St George Hospital’s Women’s Children’s Services and more than $500,000 for Westmead Children’s Hospital’s Department of Neurology.
This work is all part of our mission to Build Stronger Communities.
