Deicorp Wins Approval for Rouse Hill Project

Deicorp will push ahead with construction on its next transit-oriented project spanning six separate buildings in Rouse Hill.

Deicorp will push ahead with construction on its next transit-oriented project spanning six separate buildings in Rouse Hill.

The Sydney-based developer and construction company, who is also behind “The Block” redevelopment in Redfern, expects to start construction on the Civic Way project next month after being green-lit by the Sydney Central Planning Panel.

The approval covers a 375-mixed-use apartment development that will comprise a mix of 1, 2- and 3-bedroom dwellings in Sydney’s Northwest precinct.
The company, led by Fouad Deiri, has previously won large projects with government developer Landcom, with plans in place to build the Tallawong station precinct and develop the old Castle Hill Showground site.
Deicorp has submitted plans for 987 units for its station development in Tallawong, and was recently approved for a 272-apartment project in Castle Hill.

As for its latest Rouse Hill approval, the company says it is eyeing completion by late 2022.
The approval also includes 2,500sq m of commercial and retail floor space.
Roughly 43 kilometres north-west of the Sydney CBD, the project will be located near the Metro rail station at Rouse Hill.

Known as Proximity and designed by Group GSA, it will also sit adjacent to the Rouse Hill Town Centre.
